Hi guys

Does anyone know if Torana front mounted steering racks from LC to UC are the same and, if not, which is the best model to use on a HR front end?

The LH was the rack they used for most of the conversion around including CRS, i'm not sure if LC/LJ are same length but i'd guess they would have a slighly narrower track the LH-UC.

i've used both and i think the LC/LJ rack was better but we had to make extensions from the rack end to the tie rod end

Hey guys sorry to hijack this thread but I thought one of youse would know the answer (ratbox).
How should these torana racks be greased/lubed??? Would I take off the two "plates" and grease with a heavy type of grease like axel grease??

That plus remove the boots and wind in/out while greasing i guess ?

Yeah gotta put new boots on so i'll do that too.
A bit hard to explain, but what is the little phillips head screw in the cast section for?? Oil hole?

hi does anyone have any pics with a uc lj rack installed ( mrs ratbox?).

Does anyone know if the torana racks are different ie; v8 or 6?.
