Clutch Problem, ? Auto conversion

Hi, The clutch problem is it doesn't work, I haven't had a good look at it yet but will be soon, I have noticed that there is a small master cylinder under the bonnet, well 2 infact, the one closest to the side of the car is very low in fluid and I am wondering if that is the clutch one, Also I have noticed a slight oil patch under the car where it has been sitting and appears to be under the gearbox, is there somewhere there for the clutch to leak,,, I know this is very vague but Im just trying to get some input before I look at it, Im not the most mechanical person around but not to bad and some rough ideas or info on whats what will make things click as I look at it I hope,, the brakes seem to work good so I take it thats the inside master cylinder,,, I think I need a manual, are there any PDF manuals around
The other thing I was wondering is it difficult to convert a standard FB from manual to auto, does the floor hump have to be changed to a larger one.
Im not sure its something I would do unless it was relatively simple as I am only going to get it on the rd to drive every now and then for fun until its time to start its rebuild in about 12 months hopefully.
Oh Anyone done anything like power steering in an FB even if it needs a different front end, it will be for my wife and she has arthritis so I want to make it easier if I can for her
