I chased down an elderly Malaysian (much to my surprise, not something ya see every day!) couple to a docs surgery in willo the other day, we had a language breakdown and i think they were a little bemused to why i wanted to take a pic, They seemed reluctant to pop her hood, so i stuck to the O/S
I'm pretty sure they were an export (fb + ek) in there day to Malaysia.
None the less, despite the fb front end it was a nice rig. Neat n tidy.
Quite like the hollywood flash to.

A bloody nice looking car all round and I like the colour.
Did he understand when you started talking 2" lower and a good set of wheels needed to finish it off ?
Someone with an Asian background driving an old FB/EK out here - now that is definitely something you don't see everyday! (no offence meant as I am very impressed!) I'm with Mick - perhaps he brought it with him?
I'm still trying to work out where the EK bonnet bar comes into it - maybe they got em early up there or the FB arrived late? Does anybody know the deal on these cars - this one seems like it's bits of both all over - unless that's stuff HE did?
It would be good if he watches the forum and posts on here. By the look of that car he obviously loves it and he'd be welcome !!!

Sunviser does look a little odd without the strip, I think the flash has been made, and notice the chrome strip that runs along the top of the rear 1/4 and doors, the front edge returns to the windscreen.
Nice car, lovely condition.
