Rubbing noise under load???

Hey guys,
My EK has a rubbing noise, only under load.
It seems to be coming from the rear of the car.
So I'm leaning towards a diff issue,
But not totally sure as it sounds like a worn bearing.
Any suggestions??
Thanks in advance

First I would check the inside of your drums for anything untoward.
How old is the oil in the diff?
You could try some fresh stuff, then after that some new wheel bearings wouldn't hurt.

A rubbing type noise is an unusual noise for a wheel bearing as they tend to rumble when on the way out.Sometimes the diff carrier bearings can sort of give a whirring type noise when starting to go and then tend to the rumble when bad.
If a diff pinion gear to crownwheel gear isn't meshing correctly ( not adjusted right ) or worn they can give a high pitched hum or whirring type noise and depending on what type of adjustment is out they can do it on either run ( loading ) or overun ( backing off the throttle ).
Might be something other than the above, its very hard to diagnose by a written description.
