It wasnt started as a rat show Aiden , It was originally a meet between the Oddrodders and Rickshaws (I think) My old man and another mate of his originally from revesby got it kicked off when they were in there 20s

Great show i am guessing did you come in the magic red hg?i think it was a hg.I came up in the big pink oldsmobile you got a pix of.Some magic cars.

nope, my brown one...i dont have a red one....but, i never seen the red one there untill i was goin through my pics later on, i got it in the backround

Originally it was called the Stanwell Park run
Use to gather at the Rockdale bowl and cruise down from there.
There was a tug of war between the different clubs over the creek, where the loosing team got wet, and muddy
I have photos somewhere from the Rockdale parking area and the park.
A very different event, and people who attend today.
Times change, but some of us still remember.
