well this is a car i used to have (my first car) and had to sell it when it had no rego, and alot of rust that wouldn't pass rego ... and at the time i had no skills to fix the rust nor the money and needed a daily driver...
it was originally bought from my parents with all the mods done by dad before i got it... except the floor t-bar, bucket seats and centre console which i got from dads dead FE Sedan.

there was a stage i had money and nothing to do with it ... so i removed the tired old 192 red motor .... its actually blue believe it or not

and i fitted a sweet as worked blue 202 with celica 5 speed .... was i huge upgrade in performance and the celica box ... mmm mmm....

complete with VK EFI ... was a very sweet combo which i transplanted into the LH Torana that replaced this car.

and of course being the young revhead that i was, i had to test the engines power .....

this thing went really well, and the v8 commodore owners don't like it when an old car like this smokes them at the lights ... heheh but i did .... and it really handled well for an old holden .... was a shame to have to get rid of it, but i think the FB Ute has made up for that
