Hope this fits into this category and is of interest to some people on the forum.
1st are 4 car magazine covers from 1960/61 with locally photographed FB's.

2nd are a cover and pages from a GM Dealer news, most of which is dedicated to the FB and it's launch in RSA. It describes that a few Holdens had been imported for testing under local conditions for a few years prior to production starting. Considering that out first production Holdens were the FB, that means that there must have been a few FE or FC here. I have never seen pictures of them and wonder if any still exist. Anybody with more information?




3rd is a cover from local catalog. You will note the slogan, "Built for acountry like ours" which would differ from your catalogs. On the inside pages there are constant footnotes telling you that the South African models came standard with white wall tires.(and you can see that in the picture of them coming off the factory line.)
