Hi Blacky I thought that the Eaton M90 only pout out about 6 psi standard on the L67 (my Monaro) and the smallest pulley gets you to about 18 psi, 35 psi sounds like an awful amount of boost then
Its reading 35 lb of boost even at idle mate - there is a problem with the gauge .......

Had Jeff Ramsay come to look at the FED and start thinking through how to extend the blower snout. He reminded me you CAN squeeze 35 pissies into a red…
Here's hoping wheels up launches in the rattler would be fun

one step forwards , another step and a half sideways , a shuffle back again then a pirouette ..........
Mike came back today with the hope we would finish the tune in the shed ready for dyno time - but was still having trouble with the air and water temp apparently fighting each other when he was trying to load a program into it.
Turns out the diagram I wired it to was not quite correct , all the negatives are drawn as going directly to earth but some of them really need to go back to an earth input in the computer , namely the air, water and throttle position switch so its time to pull the wiring harness apart , locate the cables in question and rewire them to the computer not to earth .............
................. it's getting awfully close to all this crap coming off and a set of triple SU's that are hanging around in the shed being put to work......

Little problems,
Keep going you’re so close it’s not worth turning back now.
I’m really keen to hear this rumble.

Got the earth wires sorted by pulling it all apart - again just waiting on the guru to tell me where they need to go

Well , Mike turned up at home today and we got back into it - as soon as we put power on the thing the fuse blew
After much wailing and gnashing of teeth it turned out it was an ID 10 T fault in the computer, the bloke wiring it had earthed the wrong end of one of the sensors.....
Sorted that out and the tune is now done as far as it can be done - off to the dyno next
Tomorrow I need to tidy up all the wiring that now looks like a dogs breakfast, chase down a slight coolant leak, put the front doors back on and take it for a squirt around the block a few times and see if I can lower the arse a couple of MM, if you know what I mean
