What is that underneath Clay, I brought the cradle home from the company workshop yesterday, going to take the angle grinder to the rear floor area and trial fit the cradle, will post a couple of picks.

Yep, on the SS's and Calais. Optional on the poverty-pack models.

I thought they were all solid axle up to VR/VS didn't know that was an option.
So got into the workshop yesterday morning to dummy fit the cradle so that I can finish of that part of the rear.
Removed the bump stops and shocky mounts. Free if anybody needs them Cut out the area I thought that I would need to remove, didn't really lose much of the tank area.

After a bit of struggle seeing I'm by myself ( need to train the son in laws ) I was able to get the cradle under the wagon and using a jack and some racket straps pull it up into place, not sure if I needed to remove the old shocky plates but better to have some clearance I suppose. Now to remove it and box in the back seat and rear areas, I've come to the conclusion that I have enough on my plate and am going to give the tubbing a miss that is unless I can get a Club tubbing class day in my workshop hint hint Blacky when you get back

This is what the suspension should look like when I put it together before it goes in.
The photo is a V6 Conversion photo my suspension does not have the alloy upper arms.

Pow we ring ahead Neil. May as well remove the mounts if they aren't being used.

Well I was able to get into my workshop on Sunday and started to put the under seat repair into the wagon, was able to get it tacked for now and I'll finish welding this weekend hopefully, Saturday at least Dunn Run Sunday
