Not much of an update for the Sedan.
Diffs about to go in to get shortened. Oil catchment canister added to the bay. Find the stance and height funny with the stockies on the back.
Van has the engine and box out and the parts from the old sedan 9inch will be used in the rear of the van (LSD center and axles).
Foregive the photo quality was taken by phone.

Fired up the engine in the sedan on Saturday for the first time within the engine bay, it sounds pretty nice. Pretty quiet on idle and then it rips open when the throttles applied.
Still need to change the master cylinder but the oil catchment has been added, connection of the ignition done and the rocker breathers changed. Also added the lower radiator hose and fixed the alternator connections etc.
Also got some undershots for those curious -
Easy to see the engine plate and the transmission cooling from these, needs a bit of a tidy up underneath however, shits been bolted up and removed that many times for fittment it aint funny ... so cramped underneath.
The diff has also come back and allows the rear to sit nicely, really strong diff also !!! Easy to see the 2 bar link set-up from this angle.
And finally a shot where there is a diff installed on the back of the car !! The front has started dropping now as the engine is running and the car is driveable again, thou still little things to fix up.

Not too sure bout this myself Dave ....... the exhaust goes up and over at this spot and is sort of the only spot along the rail where the exhaust is the furtherest away. If it causes problems Ive really only got the boot as an option.
Captains set-up looks nice but im not sure how his finding it ? Im not sure if the pump is even strong enough in pressure and whether I need a return set-up. Will need to run it a little longer and see how it goes.
Ray its a custom radiator mate, still need to notch the bonnet lock thou.

He can just make a nice little heat shield for it, in his spare time!

Looks good nice work
a return line on the fuel might help to keep it cool as the will be constantly circulating
now if I could just get one of those on the side of the 138

Mate the car looks great.
The diif looks good as well. Yep a heat shield for the pump will be ok.
Are you planning to get this registered in NSW? It would be good to see it on the road without any engineering issues.
Keep us posted I would be keen to speak to your engineer.
