Nice work Clint,
Those LED look good. A bit more light than the original candles. Wonder if you could put a small resistor in series to lower the voltage a bit and reduce the light output?

Stephen

Cleaned the boot wiring up , not sure if it was taped and secured from holden or just loose wires and layed in the boot.
I used p clips and fixed taped cables to the bolt clips that hold the chrome outside.
This morning i had intentions of installing the glass and chrome and ended up somehow snapping pics of wiring terminations in the engine bay and and pulling the looms into the cab so now it seems ive committed to hiding the wiring. i did have to do new looms for the headlight upgrades so i thought ill do it all and do it properly

no wonder i never seem to get anywhere

.
I ran out of cable so tbc

Engine bay is still super dusty from the panel shop
Relays are going up near the glove box and headlight high and low beam extensions
I received some bullet center caps in the mail and 1 bullet wheel nut to test the taper to suit hg rims
I found these in the fb does anyone know what they are from or what they do.

Looks good MPH,
The clip goes on top of the pedal box and holds down the speedo cable and the wiring from the steering column.
Not sure what the square bolt and nut does though.

Is the nut and bolt lower front guard to A pillar bottom? Two each side.

Giving the headlights and the buckets some love tonight , did some extending of the light cables and colours to match and cleaned red dirt and muck out of the buckets and gave them some paint and polish of the chrome surrounds etc

I have some half chrome lenses but will leave them of until rego
When doing the boot wiring the other day had a strong smell of off fuel or somthing
seems to be coming from here i pulled the lid of and if was solid full of mud like crap im wondering what the tank will be like inside and if i should remove it and clean it.
Can the tanks be split in half for a clean with out a axe or chainsaw?
The horn wire colours are red and beige from memory anyone know which terminal for which colour
Im now thinking i need a HR front end to sit the front cheese cutter out more ,widen the front track, plus at the ride height now it looks like its on the limit of camber any more low and it will be positive.

Your fuel leak might just be the gasket - if you can get those screws out you might get away with replacing it and you are good to go.
I though the horn only had one wire going to it ? Do you have a wiring diagram ?

Ive given the screws a soak but have a feeling they will crumble with a screw driver and will end up needing to be drilled and and removed from the bottom of the tank.
i have the diagram but no terminations marked on the diagram horn pic, it shows some fb eks came with a option high note horn which is just paralleled of this horn

There is a bloke in Maddington who repairs fuel tanks if it all goes pear shaped - he is building an EK pillarless coupe which is worth a look as well . I have his business card at home if you need it.

You are right , red and tan. Red positive from fusebox, tan through horn contact to ground.
