I would apply a different analogy with respect to genuine rare cars. Forget your train spotter looking for non-genuine bonnet release cable clips, I definitely feel a sense of awe looking at a real left hook EK, despite it's advanced state of decay. Perhaps those of us who are interested in ID tags can consider the idea of having one with "EK-225- xxxx- L". Can't do that with a mock-up. (No dis-respect to those who who's skill in the art of metal fab work is indistinguishable from magic)
How about this,
A regular XY sedan with all the paint, the trim, the 351, and all the rest to look like and go like a Phase III, in showroom nick.
Only someone who knows Falcons would know the difference.
Or a rusty, scuffed real thing with torn seats and blowing smoke.
Money aside (yes i know Thats easy to say in hypothetical land) It's the latter which more captures the imagination.
To those not comfortable with the &*#@ analogy, imagine one with regular LC coupe and an XU1.

Converted one probably wouldn't look to bad..

Do you know where this car is exactly, seems strange it's part of a wall.

it looks like the wall was built in a rush, are you sure it is not in the DMZ between Greece and Turkey there are a lot of cars there.

In have even seen a showroom full of new classic mazdas frozen in time in a disused car showroom which would be good to get hold of.

Nope...all LHD's have the gearshift pointing toward the center. If it was a four speed floor shift it would still be situated on the transmission hump.

The dash gauge looks like it's from an FB, surely a better LHD version can be found.

This one is near the sea because of the rust and as you can see it's near a garden.

It looks "Rooted"
