No one did. I'm just asuming that you may have thought this one was less than perfect because of the price.

Apologies if I assumed wrong

Sorry mate, didn't mean to bite

No it wasn't the price, and there isn't anything that I can see from the photo's to indicate lots of rust. It's more the general state of the car, like the standard of paint in the engine bay and the holes in the roof where the sun visor has been removed. Just makes me think that the car has had a bit of 'rough love' :(

It might be a pearler, who knows, that's why I was asking Blacky if he'd been and had a look at it.

Anyway, time for me to stop hijacking this thread.

other people seem to think you do this aswell :? maybe not so much all rusted but overpriced or generaly negative or what come across as negative comments, you have been pulled up on it in the for sale section by moderators for making negative comment about cars that you have no clue about other than some pics on a computer
as for the parkes car i didn't refer to it as that, SORRY i forgot a question mark i was asking based on people like yor hero and some others making half comments about it like "was worth more" and other things about paint jobs hiding things and i was curious as to why they were saying these things

SORRY ......... that you were confused :ewink:
sometimes yor just better off shitting in yor hands and clapping

Mick,

I've never been pulled-up by a moderator for bagging someone's car or calling it overpriced. I also have never said any of the other things that you have mentioned. If you can show me where I have, I'll happily be educated by you.

Now, let's get back to the thread.

Went out to a farm to have a look at some cars for sale and this was among them. Been sitting there in the open for 4 years and has had alot of water damage. Would have been a very nice ute back then

A friend of mine who is doing up his FB got a lead on a parts car the other day
and went out to get what he could off it as the owner was scrapping he old girl. :esad:
Not much salvageable but he managed to obtain all the stainless and the dashboard trim.
Also cut off what they could of the guards and has to work quickly as the salvage truck
had turned up as they were working to take the FB away to be crushed.

The guy that owned the FB is a Speedway Midget builder and restorer
(Parramatta Speedway by the Freeway fellas!)
and had brought the FB to get the motor, crashbox and diff.
He didn’t want the rest.

Sad but enjoy the pics sorry taken on a mobile phone.
Would like to know what the details on the plate are thro
just out of interest Steve.
