Did a bit of work on the old bitch last night, prepped it up ready to go back together and had a bit of a clean up in the shed - water pump impellers gone, gaskets ordered and hopefully back together this weekend amongst other jobs that are apparently more important Image

Maybe I didn't say that too well - water pump impeller is gone because I cut it off because I have already fitted an electric water pump ....

Yeah it’s an idler pulley , if you do away with it then you have to cut the timing mark off which probably wouldn’t be an issue with the computer controlled timing on this thing but I figured this way I can swap back if the need ever arises

Got it back together today, refitted the timing cover and water pump and hit it with a bit of paint

Then slapped the rest of it together - had a hell of a time getting the harmonic balancer on all the way , had to belt shit out of it ……

Then made a start on the wiring for the water pump - it comes with a loom so you just run everything to where it needs to be and plug/wire it in

Coming together nicely.
Wiring not too much trouble for you?
I’ll be paying a hefty price to get mine done.

Did a bit on the old girl yesterday, haven’t touched it for a few weeks - my hip is giving me a TON of shit so haven’t been doing much on the weekends lately- went and saw a specialist on Friday and it looks like I am going in for a new one ImageImageImage
Anyhoo - seatcovers turned up a couple of weeks back so went to fit them , realised I didn’t have a backboard for behind the back seat so knocked one up out of 3mm MDF

Then covered it to match the new seats

Very nice, and they clash beautifully with the leopardskin.
