Hey Neil,
Looks great! I like the inserts in the guards, nice touch and not too big. The one piece door glass is

Just looking at how your wipers are parked I am still having trouble getting mine to park at the bottom of the screen are you having the same problem or is it how you stopped them ?

Thanks for the comments guys.

Clay the brass round bits are certainly NOT tie downs    I put them in the front section so it is easy to lift the piece out if I need to get to the battery, then it was suggested to me to put the two in the back to balance it out but the will also come in handy if I ever have to lift the back section to get to the fuel tank or wiring but I hope I never have to undo all those screws

Billy yes that is where the wipers park, at this point in time I may live with it until after licensing or may have another go at it before I put the glove box in.

Thanks Neil.

Are the wipers travelling to the bottom of the screen then back a bit to park. If so need to reposition the crank slightly so blades are at the bottom. Sorry if this sounds obvious. You have the 2speed commodore conversion I’m thinking for engineering. Ranex is better than the wipers if it ever rains again.

Trying to come up with some sort of console and now a couple of teething problems, reverse lights staying on and neutral safety switch not working 😕 and the other thing, took Frank out on the road the other day and engine shuts down as I start to accelerate 😤 haven't figured that one out yet as I say just teething problems.

Reverse light and neutral wiring are common to the shifter, hopefully an easy fix ?
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Be interesting to see what you come up console wise Neil. I hope you’re going to try and keep relays easy to get at.

It’s only a thought, but see if you can get some curves into the console (ala EH Prem). The utes are full of compound curves, and a flat-board console seems out of place.

There is a guy on facebook - Ronald Tewes is his name - he made up a killer console for his FB ute - check that out for inspiration Neil.

Thanks Guys;
Your right Blacky  about the 2 switches it must be an easy fix but being a grease monkey it is just messing with my brain, will probably get the guy back that tieded up my wiring to sort it.
And I agree with you guys re the console; I was struggling there and trying to make a start on something, not happy with it looking boxy, I would appreciate any photos you guys have (Billy) and I don't facebook so can't see the console you are talking about Wal but would appreciate if you can post for me, again this may be something I should get somebody to do who has the skills.
Any suggestions from any of the WA guys would be appreciated.
Also any WA guys now a good exhaust guy that is not going to cost me my first born grandchild  when I had the FC Sedan done it cost me just over $1K hoping to get out of it a little chaeper this time

Hi Harv
That is the go mate I like the curve, I would like to do that however the shifter base is quite close to the vertical of the dash face, may need to get a bit fancy

Personal opinion no console with bench seat. Minimalist rubber boot on shifter and tuck any storage, gauges, switches up close to the bottom of the dash. Suits the line of the long seat better. Also it enables three to ride in tolerable discomfort.
