Yeh because it's an EK.......NOT!!   I put it in just incase it ends up at the Summer Nats one year and it helps in the burnout pad by stopping the back brakes from overheating...... other than that it will probably never get used  .

Cheers guys,

NoMAD - Scotty did an awesome job with Axeman, but there will be no red in the flash.

Mark - never thought you didn't know what a line lock was, just put that up for everyone that reads it because there is bound to be some that have never heard of a line locker........cheers
Aussy Edo wrote:also mate just wondering what springs you went with in your front end to get it at that height?,i realise its prob written some where on here but you are up to page 50 now :!: :D .cheerz
Edo
Edo, the front ride height and track was acheived by the following:
LH Torana frontend (modified to suit EK and mounts fitted to assist with acheiving the finished ride height).
HQ stub axles, drops it 25mm over the Torana stubs (Alignment done to correct castor and eliminate "Bump Steer")
SLR 5000 coils and Gas shocks and swaybar (Pedders)
Unmodified Torana rack
P76 Discs (modified by Hopper Stoppers)
HQ Calipers (rebuilt by Hopper Stoppers)

Hope that helps Edo......... :D

,,sorry Tim but I had to! :D
Gary MATE, sorry for making a red flash line on the photoshopping (or Corel-ing in my case) I did'nt mean to suggest doing it, but if you notice Axeman also added a windscreen, rear window, bumpers & mustache mold as well! LOL

Scotty.

To me it looks like a black EK with a Flash-line flash kit.....
nothing wrong with customlines but it aint a customline, but it does have a &*#@ victoria / customline look to the car now, it had a much cleaner and meaner look before. its just taken away a bit of the tuff look, just too busy looking IMHO. each to their own. i do have a right to my own opinion

If everyone liked and wanted a "Flashline" kit then we would be in big trouble 'cause there aren't that many "spare" ones around    .
I like it, Sue and our sons like it and it's all good............ and it's a Holden just like the EH (without the "Flashline Kit"  ), not a bloody Fraud HPaddict!!

Cheers MattO

Here is a pic of the masking/marking for drilling to Body for the flash kit (and yes, I had to take the pic with the Convo in it :D :D ):

Pulled the grille apart and polished it before reassembly (changed one part that was a little bent):
