I still have to trim the edges so that the scuff plates can go back on and I can glue the rubbers, we were just so stuffed after the 5 and a 1/2 hours it took to get it all in and the bloody heat that we called it quits and that point and sat and had a couple of beers, like I said there are lots of little things to complete.

I have also modified the ashtray to hold the switch for the electric demister and the engine management light, will take a photo next time I'm in my workshop and post.

I see you have one piece side windows.

What are you doing for side rear view mirrors?

I would be interested in this as I believe they have to be fitted as part of Licensing.

I have Peep mirrors to go on either side similiar to the one below, this one is on my 58 FC Sedan, they will go on the top of the doors of my ute. Regards

Cliff side mirrors Can somebody tell me the best glue to use to stick my aftermarket mirror button to the windscreen, I used the two part stuff that came with it and it fell off and yes I followed the instructions

Loctite and 3M do a mirror adhesive
Can’t remember what I used on the Hotrod

Bathroom and kitchen silicone. Just wipe surfaces with turps.

I got some more mirror adhesive and gave it another try I think the problem the first time was that it was just way too hot packet says between 10 & 25 degrees so it worked out great this time.
I also finally grew some kahunas and drove Frank out of the workshop for just the second time to check brake operation under power and I'm really happy to say they worked really great.
Thought I would post some photos of Frankenstein outside in the sun hope you all don't mind. So now I think the last major thing is to have the exhaust done.

Looks great Kneel, and the timber deck colour is cool out in the sun.

Gaz the colour is so different out in the sun the pearl really comes out and pops.

Clay the tray floor and stainless strips are held down by stainless M6 screws they go through the cross bars of the tray and each one is drilled and tapped so the M6 screws hold the floor and strips down together 30 or 32 drilled and tapped

The front section that lifts out, battery is underneath, the stainless strips are just bolted through the piece of board.

I meant the round things in the corners Neil. Are they a sort of latch or tie downs?
