Hey guys, well its been a while since my last post, been busy at work and little time for the car. anyway here are some update pix:

Got some chrome back on the car


Reproduction head lining fitted, not bad fit although needs to stretch out a little


Dash controls re-fitted and hidden wiring also fitted


Dents removed from tank, cleaned out and sprayed in primer highfill


doors assembled and all hardware cleaned/polished and recoed, those rare spares rubbers are great fun to fit!


Hidden wiring all sorted out and waiting for fitment of the trusty grey motor for final assembly


Fitted re-coed master cylinders, slave cylinder and accelerator linkage's and wiper motor.


I just love the rear ends on fb/ek holdens, reminds me of a hoochy mama!


For those of you who love big arses, heres a closer look!


Have recoed the steering wheel, then painted it in 2 pack primer high fill, this is my high tech baking oven where its been sitting for two days

Got these retro seat belts from the states, would look pretty cool when fitted

Hey DR, dont know what your talking about? I reckon ive invented new swear words from the experience i had when fitting these you beut made in china rubbers!

Hey Bebop... looking good dude... the seatbelt colour is awesome and should suit well

1 minor thing on that however, have the belts been australian approved? my understanding is if you use non-approved belts any injury claims as the result of an accident (god forbid of course) become void as the belts can cause more damaged since they dont meet Oz standards?... just a thought for you anyway

I looked into getting some from the states as-well and was told that they fail the "had a crash and end up upside down" and they won't undo with the weight of a body on them, so you could drown in a ditch or burn to death in a car fire!
Anyway, they look good .

Hi Nathan, point taken, i think some protection is better than none at all, considering you can legally register these old holdens with no seat belts fitted. Im sure these U.S.A belts will stop occcupants from flying through the windscreen, so thats gotta be a plus as well as looking good?
