I dream about the day I start to get to the paint stage.

Keep going, it's also inspiring for the rest of us that are doing our own cars. :D :D

Hey Harko
it was a few years ago 2005 when toyota brought
out a verry similar color and i thought gee a fb wagon
would look good in that color with a pearl white or chevy
cream flash i kept seeing them and saying to the good wife a
wagon in that color would look good after saying this for a
couple of years she gave in and said you better get a wagon
then when the sedan is finished :D :D plan worked

i was all set to paint delphine (wagon) the Toyota color
when suzuki bought out the light ocean blue color on
the swifts and SX4's and one started to park near my house
and we liked it i then couldnt decide so did a color test with
both colors and the suzuki color had more of a blue look to it
so that got the nod
good decision i reckon :D
:) good color for your coupe mate :)

I have some brand new trim here for my pontiac and its the same blue with a darker glittery blue // stripes , I was eying it up yesterday to fit in the EK
That colour would go very well with it and I can definitely make the trim fit - yards to spare  .

And what Ive been telling family is that Im building my EK to be remeniscent of mums old XM coupe which was a very similar blue .
Similarities being a 2 door , pillarless , shorter front screen etc  .
I spent my youth in it but have no urge to go back to a &*#@

this is a nice colour too

Hey Harko
Trim would look good i reckon if you can get it to fit
blue on blue always looks fresh and clean
when i was looking for my first car i almost brought a XP falcon coupe
insted of the ek it was black pillarless and a pirsuit motor in it
but the guy changed his mind the day i was going to pick it up
lucky because i found the ek the next day and well ive still got her :D

tried to base coat the roof of the wagon the other morning but it
got to hot and paint was drying before it got to the metal :x
will post some pics soon :)

bit more progress with the panel work
stripped the botom and top tailgate and repaired the dents
as you can see the red patches are dents these were repaired
by nocking them out filed off and body filler for cosmetic purpose
sanded and etch primed then primer filler sprayed on it will be blocked
off in a week and then a light coat of under coat ready for paint

also pics of one of the doors i spent a week on getting straight
it was full of dents to the point of i nearly chucked them out but
persistance looks like it will pay off :D :D
