They were still a bugger to access, so the welds aren't as pretty as they could be, but they wont fall off.
Sorry about the bodgy photos, I couldn't see what I was doing there, either.
I should have dropped the front end out to weld them....oh well.




Welded in the tunnel and patched the firewall too.
Before I tacked it in I wiped the paint of from around the edge of the tunnel with thinners and wirewheeled around the edge of the floor again to make my life easier.

Fully welded it.


Then touched it up with a flapper wheel.

Ground the excess off on the firewall side.

And sanded it up.
I knocked about 1/4 inch off the seamjoint while I was at it for a little extra clearance on the back of the motor.

I ground the excess off underneath as well. What a turd of a way to spend an arvo...
I will seamseal the lapjoint underneath after I have wirewheeled the rest of the floor to keep moisture out.
