Thanks Blacky 8)

I've been helping only a small fraction, so Dave would know better how many hours have gone into it. . Bear in mind there's still some more to go. The jigsaw puzzle needs putting back together now

Yeah with a happy ending. Ive got all the hours written down. After its done pete can give them out if he likes. The two floor pans for example took ten hours. The repair in the roof rail nclding folding up the panel 5 hours. I think the sill took 8 hours from start to finish. The front guards took ages and were as usual the most labour intensive. Peter could have bought a greek island for what they cost to do.

Don't laugh Mick. when I told the other half about all the expenses, she mumbled something about me making myself look pretty and going out on a Saturday night to "earn" extra money

I saw an old tranny today at the vintage machinery show at menangle. Shim is heavily into the street machine drag race scene from way back. Believe me pete im visualising you dressed up and im going to inherite your car if you think you can find the money that way.
The first time i went to the states all i had for spending money was a thousand dollars. One of my mates was that worried that he offered me more cash to take. I declined the loan and in front of my wife i said "dont worry if you see me on the next porno you watch ive run out of money".
Amazingly i went there for almost three weeks and made it last. And this was when the dollar was 50 cents.

This one of Dave's other pastimes, restoring model boats (as well as full size ones.)

These two are yet to be restored, and have amazing attention to detail on them.

This one is over 200 years old

Today Dave finished off the wet sanding, and started with the buffing and polishing.

The shine that came up was amazing

Good contrast between buffed and unbuffed

Late in the game we decided to give the rims a freshen up, as they were looking a bit shit compared to how the rest of the car was turning out

Finished the day in the dark.
