Got sick of the rain today so cranked up the heater in the shed and did a
little bit of painting in the cargo area im only covering the side panels and wheel archs
with grey vinyl and having the wooden floor piece and the nice red painted sides near the wood

Great post Jay, nice work.
The paint looks like glass, did you use 1200 wet and dry on the undercoat?
I like acrylic it's very easy to work with and touch up, a lot better than 2 pack.
My brother Kevin lives at Sawtell and worked at Family bowl.
He's the mechanic in the Muscle car masters he works on the old Forbes and Bartlett A9X car number 10 for it's owner Shaun

i use 2000 on the undercoat but thats probably over kill
mainly so i can get a nice shine on the undercoat to see if there are any dents
ive missed
nice place Sawtell when its not raining

yeh mate any good paint or auto shop will have 2000 ive even seen 3000
ive had the ek wagon for 15 months now progress has been slow due to starting a new job last year
but starting to come together now
tom albert plce is not that far from me couple of k's nice area

Hi
pulled the diff out and cleaned and painted it and the other attached piece's also new brake shoes fitted
+ diff spring pads ive been cleaning under the wagon because its been too wet and humid to do any body panel work

Yep i hear ya when it stops raining its to steamy to do any painting
even though its hot enough
on the plus side the water + surf has been warm and decent
