perfect - attach the standard winder and it would look mint.

Got back early from the job offshore so had the weekend in the workshop, finally got both electric windows working properly so fitted the wiring and connected to Frank's battery just waiting for door cards to come back from trimmers (with the bench seat) so I can fit the switches.
Also finished the sound proofing.

Need to order carpet when I get back from the next job and still trying to finish tidying the wiring.
Not much more to do to finish just work getting in the way

Ordered carpet the other day from Knox carpets on eBay.
Also Drew the trimmer sent me a couple of photos of my bench seat and door trim will pick them up later next week. Regards

My brake pedal does not drop very much with the engine running and is pretty hard I am assuming it is loss of vacuum due to the cam in the little V6
Can anybody throw a little light on this I'm thinking I may need to measure the vacuum at the hose to the booster and if it is low say below 14" of vacuum or may have to fit a vacuum cannister; I'm open to other ideas guys if I have good vacuum then maybe my flash shiny booster is cactus, I remember reading somewhere that they are not that flash from eBay

Hi Neil,

Usually if you put your foot on the pedal then start it the pedal should drop, this quick test indicates the booster is ok.

Not sure what vacuum you need but Harv went through this not long ago.

Engine on and pedal drop = OK booster.
Engine on and idle increases with brake = torn diaphragm.
Rough guide: 16-14mmHg at idle needs a vacuum tank. Less than 14mmHg needs an electric pump and tank.

For mine, The You-and-I VH151 vacuum brake booster is of very small volume (1.4L). When combined with the engine’s low vacuum (13”Hg at idle), the resultant vacuum power is very low, causing hard brake pedal after a few brake applications. To resolve this, I’m using a Protek VT1 vacuum tank (3.1L). The vacuum tank is coupled to an Aeroflow AF49-150 electric twin piston vacuum pump, controlled by a Hobbs switch. There is a bloke selling the same kit on Ozrodders - grab it for a good deal.

Off-topic, but -
Vacuum tank + electric vacuum pump + low-vacuum switch sounds like a cure for lazy vacuum wipers. This will be worth looking into.
