Thats a WILD looking ute mate. Good effort getting it going. It sits down real nice. Are they 56 Chevy tailights and does one of them hide the fuel filler?
Tony.

Thanks Tony
She sits right on the 100 mm limit , did have 120 mm when I first put it together but the springs have compressed with the weight on them over time .

Worked out good setting it up with the Torana front end and chassis , it sits nice and low but it still has great suspension travel .

They are 56 tail lights , but no fuel filler under one , there is just not enough room under her to get a fuel tank in where it could run from the light .

Just got an alum fuel cell in the tray .

HI Ya Rusty
(She sits right on the 100 mm limit )
Where are these measurement taken from as it looks like mine but I don't have the motor in yet hoping it will drop the front down just enough this is an early photo as it's painted now. I have 14" on the front 15" on the back

G'day Billy , the lowest point on mine is the Torana front end , it has exactly 100 mm clearance , the sills at the front sit 110mm from the road , the exhaust runs through the chassis and everything else underneath is tucked up hard so she has plenty of clearance to the exhaust etc .

Finally worked out how to get stuff from my iPad to photobucket and back to the forum up the right way

So here is a couple of pics from the weekend , went for a cruise with a mate in his Xp , we went to the car show in Claremont , fundraiser for the Girl Guides , was a good turnout
Then cruised to Richmond for lunch at the local pub and a couple of jimmy beams .

After lunch we went down to the bridge and took a couple of pics , had a good day , the ute is settling in well , gearbox has stopped slipping and is running well , just needed a few k,s on her by the looks , got 700 k on her now , with no dramas

Too right! Stayed in a lovely B&B there once - the Millhouse - right beside the bridge. Jeez it was nice, but I think it's closed now.
