Great looking visor.

I had one with the big block 186 and it split the roof mounts, needless to say I don't have one now !

On the ute though it looks great and probably really needs to be there.

Was able to finish off the handbrake cabling underneath, ended up doing similar to what Harv showed in the drawing he posted for me but instead of a piece of flat bar between the commodore rear cable and the original front cable I made up a stainless steel wire cable with a turnbuckle in it and swagged ends, the turnbuckle gives me extra adjustment along with the adjustment on the original front cable.
So I'm pretty sure that everything underneath is now finished, that I can do, will just have to slip underneath and check everything out one last time and then Frank can come down off of the car stands
Of course exhaust needs to be done yet.

The drive to the ‘zorst shop with just headers on is damn fun. I realised that “mug lair” is hereditary when Number 1 Son keeps talking about the FBs journey.

Cheers,
Harv

Hi Clay I will try to get a decent photo of it for you and Harv I would love to drive it to the Zorst shop but I'm sort of semi rural outside of Perth and the shop I used for the FC is 20 or 30 K's away so I think it will be on a trailer

Put the rest of the bolts into the visor and fitted the sun shades.

Fitted the interior light (thanks Harv) can anybody give me the link for the LED interior light bulbs? and a photo below of the setup I did for the handbrake cable original front to standard commodore rear, photo for you Clay but not sure which photo is clearer

Wasn't happy with the HQ power steering arms I put on, when I jacked up the wheel to where it would be ride height I could already see that with the rear mounted rack I have it was going to give me really bad bump clearance so I made some adjustment to the HR steering arms that I had and now have clearance.
Still have to tidy wiring under dash and haven't sorted the power windows yet just need to stop procratinating and pull out the digit.

Great work there Neil. Thanks for the photos. Looks like a tidy solution with the turn buckles. I guess the commodore rear cable is quite a bit shorter than stock.

Thanks for the link John I was just looking at your thread trying to find it.

Hi Clay yes the commodore cable is quite a bit shorter, the commodore handbrake lever is in the middle back between the seats if you remember

Neil

Put the Ute on its wheels (nice centre caps coming) to check ride height, I think the front is a bit low even though I like it, and will probably go back to standard height springs as tyres are going to rub when trying to turn, drove it out of my workshop for the first time under its own power, still got a fair bit to do and a couple of things to sort out.
