Thanks BB - yes, I have only "done" two of mine... the other two are in the next wave of refurb.....
I didn't do this, but was of the opinion that I might try to "bump" off the metal retainer on the next one... clean out the channel and "bump" it back onto the glass again with a new weatherstrip....

Just in case those who are yet to do this..... it is important that the strip is in good nick and angled towards the outer door panel....
Its purpose is to deflect water and crud away from your winder mechanisms.....
When the window is fully wound up, it sits neatly beneath the upper top of the door....
Leaving it out is perilous.... it would be far better to add some to what is left of the old seal by using Loctite 424 .... than to re-fit the glass with a damaged or missing one....

On a closing note - the Australian Caravan Club, NSW branch are hosting the "national muster" next year....... at the Nowra showgrounds...
Case of deja-vu for us.... it was our first FB/EK nats......

Some good tips there Matt. My 'armoury of tools' include...large flat plastic paint stirrer, paddle pops sticks, small and large flat bladed screwdrivers, tape, clean rags and colourful language...

Hi Rosco are you talking about the channel the actual door galss sits in or the weatherstrips? If the weatherstrips I'm not sure if that will work as the metal retainers have 'teeth' that lock onto the weatherstrip to stop it moving when the glass is wound up and down.

Rear taillights have gone in.

Some 'new old' rubbber...these Toyos came off the FB...

A second coat of black epoxy has really made a difference on the floor

Fuel tank is in.

Proud of this effort...I think I might patent my spring stretchererer...it made it easy to get some paint on the bonnet springs.



then I unwrapped the bonnet hinges...these were rezinced about 2 years ago...



I was able to line up the hinges with the spring stretchererer and release the tension onto the hinges



I like it.
