Cool Steve, I dont hold much luck in the previous owner having it. The car was his father-in-laws and he has had it for the past couple of years. Doesnt know any of the history or mods that have been done to the car. I will give him a call and see though, you never know, he may stumble accross it a some stage.

Car has come up very classy, I'd be happy driving that around, you've got it looking good ( gotta say I don't like the steering wheel though :wink: :wink: :wink: ).

The carb on the manifold pic looks to be the 2 litre Cortina Weber carby or maybe the XE/XF Falcon Weber ?? on the aluminium red motor manifold.
I can't think what to write here so this will do.

Dont worry, as soon as I get my hands on an original steering wheel, that sports job is gone!

Gotta say after actually seeing it it is really good, just hop in and drive with just enough little jobs to keep you tinkering and not keep it off the road! 8) 8)

I have now got some HR rims for the front, so might put two on the rear with hubcaps and whitewalls.
