How many coats did you end up doing ? :? :?
hmm didnt really count the coats but if you add everything up mixed
theres
3litres of primer
1litre of black
4litres of white
2litres of clear with flake and pearl
and 9litres of straight clear
all up 19 litres of paint :shock: id hate to take it down to bare metal again :roll:

started to get some stripin, im also gettin the top at the front of each guard the bonnet and the top of the dash done :D

sorry mate but you have obviously not been follwin the build, the paint has flattenin base mixed in, so buffing would be a bit of waste of time now wouldn it, but the roof is glossy if that makes you feel any better :D

dash striping looks awesome matchew! whereabouts in syd is albion park? i might see you out cruising eventually eh?
aidan's mum brought up a good point, can you polish flattened paint to protect the finish?

I've heard of somone spraying Mr Sheen on a flat black car, it gave it a wierd half sheen, definitely to some of the flatness away.

To protect a flat finish garaging it as much as possible will ensure a lasting finish or a touch up every couple of years.
