After Pro Hart we went and had a look at another gallery - Ando as he is known has painted a 100m long panorama which is inside a building in the middle of town - I took a video of it but Tapatalk won’t let me post it so I took some screenshots-

Then we headed out to Silverton for some proper culture
More art galleries out there now ….. and some good stuff as well

Then back to town and visited Australia’s oldest milk bar - apparently - nowhere near as good as the one at Gundagai that went to after last years Nats but they DO know how to make a thick shake !!

Where were we? Stayed in a caravan park last night and got on the soup around the campfire so no diary entry …..
Left Broken Hill yesterday morning first stop Wilcannia for fuel and a stretch

LOTS of Roos emus and millions of goats , also a few dozen wedgies, one of them with a snake in his beak for breakfast plus a couple of Echidnas

Off to the bottlo to grab some adult cordial - reminds me of Wiluna , wanted to grab a couple of king browns but apparently they were banned in 2009 over this way ??? The locals used them as weapons ………




Off to the campfire for a beer and bullshit session with some other travellers- very pleasant

That's a fancy bottle-o protective screen. The last time we went through Wilcannia (about 28 years ago, in a VK Calais and van) the screens were plain concrete reo mesh.
