Blacky has covered the event pretty we in another thread, but suffice to say it was an overwhelming experience of sensory stimulation and shared enthusiasm. The venue carpark was a highlight, overlooking the Indian Ocean, and full of lovely cars and people.

After brekky at Bunbury Back Beach, we se out on the after cruise.Image

Tegan and Stuart from Kalgoorlie came along as far as Margaret River, in their genuine survivor.Image

Just before Yallingup, we stopped at Caves House, where we bumped into a couple of young surfie mates from Willunga.Image

Blacky and Janessa and Lindsay's blue utes stopped for a natter about things auto electrical at Witchclffe.Image

WA members Trevor (60 Special) and Drew brought their vans.ImageImage

Briby and Alan are both driving their 5 litre FB sedans, and I cant forget Greg and Anne in the small block EK. Greg is getting 20mpg, which is pretty good for a big V8. More photos to come.

Here is one of Janessa and my utes at Caves House.Image

So far I have clocked up 4095km to get here to Albany, since leaving Willunga, with at least 700km to go. It is pretty fun cruising down the highway with all these awesome cars. Stoneys wagon is still stunning after being rebuilt 20 years ago.Image

Cheers boys.ImageI love the wheels on Joe's wagon. I had a ride in Greg's car out to look Blacky's mate Suggy's shed. Image What a weapon!

On the way back, I had a ride with Joe and his son Riley.ImageJoe is a very sensible appearing gentleman, but he did do a key banger in the main street and made us jump.

Suggy's shed was impressive, to say the least. We went to the whaling museum at Albany, where I managed to take some stairs on my arse.Image
I went to the surfboard museum which happened to be across the road from the motel.ImageImageImageCouple f early 70s boards from Adelaide....Loca surf spot Middleton, same name as my local.

Blue utes at motel. Wedgwood, Banff, Lucerne.Image
Next morning we all went our separate ways, as we headed back to Maggot Creek, I mean Margaret River. There was a mass paddle out for a surfer that went missing in big surf last Friday.ImageImage
We overnighter st our friends place on the estuary at Augusta,ImageImageImage
Before heading back up to Rockingham for Neil birthday dinner at the Pink pig.

We stayed at WA club members Adele and Neil's B+B at Freo, and Adele kindly parked her Fargo in the street so we could get the ute off the street.Image
