Blacky has covered the event pretty we in another thread, but suffice to say it was an overwhelming experience of sensory stimulation and shared enthusiasm. The venue carpark was a highlight, overlooking the Indian Ocean, and full of lovely cars and people.
After brekky at Bunbury Back Beach, we se out on the after cruise.
Tegan and Stuart from Kalgoorlie came along as far as Margaret River, in their genuine survivor.
Just before Yallingup, we stopped at Caves House, where we bumped into a couple of young surfie mates from Willunga.
Blacky and Janessa and Lindsay's blue utes stopped for a natter about things auto electrical at Witchclffe.
WA members Trevor (60 Special) and Drew brought their vans.

Briby and Alan are both driving their 5 litre FB sedans, and I cant forget Greg and Anne in the small block EK. Greg is getting 20mpg, which is pretty good for a big V8. More photos to come.
Here is one of Janessa and my utes at Caves House.

The injected 5 litre cars get 25 to 30 on the highway. This is the view I usually get oft these cars:

So far I have clocked up 4095km to get here to Albany, since leaving Willunga, with at least 700km to go. It is pretty fun cruising down the highway with all these awesome cars. Stoneys wagon is still stunning after being rebuilt 20 years ago.

Cheers boys.

I love the wheels on Joe's wagon. I had a ride in Greg's car out to look Blacky's mate Suggy's shed.

What a weapon!
On the way back, I had a ride with Joe and his son Riley.

Joe is a very sensible appearing gentleman, but he did do a key banger in the main street and made us jump.

Absolutely Neil. We even met a couple of Neil's kids....

And thanks for putting me on to this fella.

This morning George fitted up the LED headlights I won by auction at the Nationals.

Halogen vs LED.
We stayed at WA club members Adele and Neil's B+B at Freo, and Adele kindly parked her Fargo in the street so we could get the ute off the street.
