Stewart
Paul at Delway metal polishers polished the manifold. Am happy with the result. Polished cover looks cool.

Hi, Thanks Pauly. I enjoy looking back through it myself. It would be 14 pages long already if i posted every pic i took. Will be great to go to nationals next year and get a photo with all the great restorations happening along the way. Still tossing up whether to use the 13" deep dish steelies or go for 14". I like to keep it like you would have done it in the 60's but theres a heap of nice chrome mags out there. What does everybody reckon??

Heres a pic of the new power house. A few of you would probably recognise it if it was still in its previous owners car. Im not overly tech minded but am told it has head work done, cam, high top pistons and will get the twin carbs soon enough. Should give the old blacky a bit more get up and go and a nice note.

I am a bit partial to 13" rims but that's just me .....
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

For my Blacky I was thinking these, hq gts mags, they come brand new in the old holden stud pattern not the hq/chev pattern

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/HOLDEN-GTS-W ... 1797418152

would look like this

Not really 60's period look but makes it look mean!
Name says it all watch out for BLK CAR ek on the road..... In a few years

A bit more black added to the car. Shadow chrome paint on bonnet x brace looks cool and reflects awesome in the bonnet. Just have to block down the primer now and paint. ( Don't look at the crappy American car in the background!! lol )
