i also started on the trim.
one of the good things about this build is i bought alot of stuff years ago that i never used. rares rubber kit still in box and a roll of velour trim. saved me a bit of $$$$
heres one of the door trims, still got to cut speaker and handle holes
and heres a speaker soround i made out of 6mm mdf, covered in padding, now im goning to cover in black velour

thanks terry, i spend as much time as i can on it.
small update
glued all the boot carpet in
started putting the trim in
i had a problem with one of the rare spares rubbers, front left outer was too long along the bottom and not long enuff at the top, i took it with me to the summernats, rares swaped it no questions asked
i bought the rares boot rubber and just as every one says it didnt fit.
for a boot rubber i used 2 front/rear inner door rubbers
getting close now

hay mate lookin good, ive got outers for mine but cant seem to figure out how exactly they go on, any hepers wood be appreciated cause if i cant figure it out im jus gona buy some different rubbers from clarks, i had no probs wif inners

do you have a phone No or can you get one for that guy that owns the LJ across from yor mums, i'll try getting it off him (the diff will have yor name on it

hey matchew ill take some photos and explain how i glued them in.
rat, ill see what i can do about that torry, my trim was originally green and white, i retrimed it because i couldnt find a green front one
im getting my back seat done to match

update
hey guys, been ploding along with it, trying my hardest to get it done for the nats
matchew i tryed takin photos of the rubbers but they came out crapy and didnt show much. only advice i can give is trial fit them, leave them in and glue 20 to 30cm at a time.
99% of wiring done

lights and blinkers working.
wipers working
all the trim is in
all the stainless trim is on, except one strip im missing
all stereo in and working

is there a sound off at the nats
just got to paint the roof and bonnet, then she'll be very close to rego time

You must get it done for the Nats........after all it is an FB and this is the 50th birthday (gees, did I just say that

) .......... all jokes aside, the FB is looking great and make sure you get to the Nats to meet a whole lot of people that are crazy about these special Holdens (EK's included....obviously

)

hey RB, im missing the left rear door flash strip, the top one.
dont spose you have one??
gary, im trying my hardest to get there. iv never been to a nats before, i havent entered yet because i dont know if it will be finished by then.
its hard to belive its nearly finished after 14years
