lol...almost seems impossible, the speed and efficiency of this build. You sure you don't have a crack team of hot shot car crafters working on this through the wee hours of the night????
Looking well cool and has certainly become the first port of call when logging onto the ol' interweb each night.
Can't wait to see the finished ride.
Cheers, Scott

So clean and tidy, shows good planning. Makes assembly much easier.
Amazing how many clamps you have to use to comply with the distance between fixments regulations.
How is your engineer with the brake line on the outside of the rail near the rear tyre

Fair call Paul, I had already had that "not happy with that" feeling, so I moved it inside when I rolled the car to do the fuel line.

Where you have crossed the lower part of the rail, from the outside to the inner. The tube is now in a position where it is lower than the rail. And in an unforseen moment something on the road could catch and drag on it.
A simple fix is to make a sheet metal cover that is screwed in place over this section.
I got pick up on this same thing many years ago
Many production cars use this method of protection for exposed or lines that could possible be damaged.

No worries Mick

, I think I might have a day to spare before the Nationals (if I'm lucky)

.
I am thinking of putting the EK on the train from Darwin to Adelaide, then drive to Bendigo with Thommo and crew. If I do this then I can take a nice cruise up the east coast back to Darwin (that is the preference), only concern is apparently you are not allowed to load or unload your car yourself

, I don't think the old heart could handle watching someone else doing it!

[quote="V8EK4us"]Bit more progress.
Tidied up the rear bump stops and fitted new bolts, Torana frontend is in with all new bushes, 4-link and diff is fitted. Also re-run the rear brakeline through the rail so I didn't have to make a poxy looking cover

. I think the contrast btween the gloss black and grey underbody looks ok.
The contrasts makes features of the great work you have done.
Was waiting to see your solution to that brake line, didnt dissapoint us with the fix.
Now Im waiting for your post later tonight to see what else has been done.
