I have bought most of these through private sales rather than auctions - what do you need?
gpi wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2020 4:49 pm
ill let you finish filling the walls and ill start bidding on parts again
I’ll take a 3” SU and a rear oil breather rocker cover

Wish I had a 3 inch SU and I’m hoping the special cover will end up on the ute but needs work - cost me 6 pairs of our best merino work socks to get that blasted

I only know of one surviving Eldred 3" SU. It was on Gary's Wray-fed FC over in WA, though since removed. Would dearly love to get my hands on that one.
Cheers,
Harv

Yeah I spoke to Gary about that one - was planning to put it into a car again so not interested in selling - looks amazing

Very tidy. The rattle rods haven’t chipped any paint off then?
Those cargo strips look nice. What is the story with the first photo Rob? Looks like you are rebating some hinges. For the spare wheel hatch?

Yeah I have a problem with the hatch as they made it originally too thin and it warped then I added dome planks at 90 degrees to straighten it out but not quite enough so I ran the fine kerf saw along the joins to releive some pressure so hoping that flattens out in a couple days but I need make that rebate a fraction deeper as well - timber is beautiful but not as easy to work with as metal

By rattle rods do you mean the tailgate rods? I put a few wraps of electrical tape around the ends so when it’s closed it is nice and solid - no rattles

Good way to help neutralise understeer, improve traction, and get a low stance.
