you can get them for these old girls but they weren't standard and are pretty hard to find for a descent price.

LSD = Limited Slip Differential.

Here is a brief explanation taken from Wikipedia.

"The main advantage of a limited slip differential is shown by considering the case of a standard (or "open") differential where one wheel has no contact with the ground at all. In such a case, the contacting wheel will remain stationary, and the non-contacting wheel will rotate freely—the torque transmitted will be equal at both wheels, but will not exceed the threshold of torque needed to move the vehicle, and thus the vehicle will remain stationary. In everyday use on typical roads, such a situation is very unlikely, and so a normal differential suffices. For more demanding use, such as driving in mud, off-road, or for high performance vehicles, such a state of affairs is undesirable, and the LSD can be employed to deal with it. By limiting the angular velocity difference between a pair of driven wheels, useful torque can be transmitted as long as there is some traction available on at least one of the wheels".

I'd say he'd struggle to spin the wheels with a LSD.

I've seen even V8's do some pathetic attempts at brake jobs with LSD's...........and they used to have no trouble with a one legger.

If you keep doing that you will soon be in much greater debt, due to either:

1. Broken Parts
2. Fines/lack of license and associated bus fare expenditure.

Be careful.

I have never done a burnout in my FB as I don't like the idea of the strain it will put on the driveline.

there's always one person who has to mention that
I was in a secluded area with no cars or people within 700m from me.
Burnouts on the street are stupid and dangerous which is why I chose an area where no body would get hurt or even know what I was doing.

Its not like I plan on doing them all the time, to tell u the truth it was only the other day that i figured out my car can actually do them.

I don't think they are dangeous, just that the potential consequences are too great.

Hi J, I don't know if it's been mentioned elsewhere on this thread but that was definitley Burnsey's car.He might be a member on here somewhere. We used to always run into each other-we both got our cars on the road at about the same time and both thought we'd picked an uncommon colour for them, as it turns out they were pretty much identical! I think Burnsey used his car as his wedding car as well. He's a nice bloke and will probably tell you all about your car if you track him down!
