Sorry , no update , me and the ute are not on speaking terms at the moment  I think the bloody thing is jinxed  .

Was loading a bloody great water tank onto my work ute up some planks early one morning , rushing around in the dark , slipped , lost the tank .

Well you can guess what happened , ute was parked not where I usually put it , but right behind where I was loading , I actually screamed out nooooooooooo ,and told her to jump out of the way but she just sat there .

Could not do nothing but watch it hit , luckily it hit on one of the peaks for the 56 taillights which took all the brunt , chiped a bit of paint off the top edge of it , but has also hit the tailgate and creased it about 150mm long and in a couple of mm.

Spent two hours repairing the water tank , looking at the ute and using lots of big boy words that start with f.

So what to do know ? To repair a little dent at this stage is some major work , was thinking about trying one of those ,Mr ding goes , type of fellas to see if they can fix it .

But am a bit pissed with myself and have not been back to it

Maaaaaate! Are you sure some sort of hex spell hasnt been out on you? That is serious bad luck.

Walking away was probably the best thing to do. I'm sure you can sort it out.

Sorry for asking Rusty

You know what they say though don't you ... a rebuild is only as good as the stories behind it!!! Okay I don't know who said it, but it seems appropriate

Good luck mate!! Looking forward to the next instalment of your saga ...

damn that sucks mate u must have felt like going to the pub for a week after that :x :x :x
Some of those paintless dent remover blokes are pretty damn good at what they do.
Ask around the panel shops or car yards , find the best one will be better than trying to match the pearl necklace (sorry couldn't help myself   )
Oh the joys of it all

Thanks Guys , rang a couple of the paintless dent removal guys today , no luck there , they need to get behind it to knock it out , could do that myself if I could get in there

I thought they had some sort of a sucker thing to pull the dent out , apparently not , best they could come up with was to drill a 50mm hole on the inside , knock it out and then put a rubber grommet in the hole , that will look nice :) .

Have to sleep on it a few more days and see what I can come up with .

Are you still here :D , you have been quite , how is your ute going ??

Might take you up on the smaller one , had a bit of a lash with a super toilet sucker thingy , made a end for it , got it out a bit , was just going to get over it and paint it ,but just have not had any spare time of late to do anything to the poor old girl .

Will give you a call when I get back to it :D

She fixed mate?
Not all chemicals are bad. Without chemicals such as hydrogen and
oxygen, for example, there would be no way to make water, a vital

Ok, have gave myself another kick up the butt and stoped stewing over the dent I put in the tailgate  , have got it out a fair bit and am just going to get over it .

Have decided to have a couple days off work and get the thing clear coated before winter really hits , so she is back apart again , matched the pearl up inside the doors , guards etc today .

Block her down the next couple of days and throw the clear on , then put her back together over winter.
