I'm at a real impass with the wiring just can't get my head around the column wiring for the wipers and lights and the VT headlight switch everything else is working, gauge wiring is simple, engine starts from ignition etc better get a hold of the wiring diagrams and nut it out.  this is when you need a son-in-law that is an auto electrician

I appreciate the offer Keith but think I will be ok now, I had a pretty reasonable day yesterday and using your diagram and the manual I have purchased I was able to get the wiper motor working in both speeds from the column (no interrmitant yet or park) and the rear blinkers turning on and off on the correct sides.

I am back at work today :silent: :esad: so have to wait until the weekend; need to run the headlight and front blinker/park light wiring now and get a blinker flasher and I might then be able to get that side of things finished.

Got into thew workshop Saturday morning and pulled the exhaust manifolds from my engine.

I have only run the engine a couple of times and my VHT paint has started to blister straight away as you can see in the photo, so they are going for ceramic coating at CIC thanks to Bones (John and his brother) for the contact to the company, because that little engine of mine has had so much work done to it and the comp ratio is high I should have known that the paint would not be able to handle it and had it done the first time as it is not that easy getting the manifolds in and out.

Into the shop Sunday and sorted out the windscreen wipers and now have park, had to adjust the position of the crank arm, will not get intermitant as not using the body control module that would control it.

Ran headlight, blinker and parklight wiring on both sides into the cab hidden up under the guards, thanks to Billy the blinker/park light sockets should be here today and then I'm only waiting on an 8 fuse fuse box I have bought off ebay so that I can connect it all up and should be finished with the spaghetti

Trying to get wiring finished while my headers are being ceramic coated (10 business days) I had ordered a fuse block from Ebay in late December but god only knows where it is, somewhere between China and here and I don't know when it will arrive so being impatient as I am I sourced one locally and will start connecting things hopefully on the weekend.
Good thing about this fuse block by Narva is that it has 2 power inlets, 2 separate buzz bars so I can feen ignition into one half and accessories into the other, will have to try to conceal it up under the dash.

Also picked up this set of rims for the ute (this makes 3 sets now but don't tell the boss) these are absolutely perfect, brand new never been on a car

Still the list of things to do dosen't seem to be getting any shorter

Fitted the blinker sockets that Billy sent me, thanks again Billy, polished the eyebrows and fitted them along with lenses and polished the grill while I was at it, all the wiring is under the guards.

Now both ends are finished (I hope  ) I can concentrate on inside the cab
