Sorry Guys , nothing to report :( , having spent all my spare time on the ute the house and yard has suffered :? .

I live in the bush down here , so have had to spend the last couple of months clearing up around the place and cutting all my fire breaks back in around the house in case of the worst this summer .

Finished off a few other things that the wife has wanted me to fix , so should be good to go again on it shortly .

Will let you know

Very keen to see this finished.
I take my hat off to your skills. Awesome stuff!
Not all chemicals are bad. Without chemicals such as hydrogen and
oxygen, for example, there would be no way to make water, a vital
ingredient in beer

Thanks John , yours is looking sweet

Dug it back out of the shed over the weekend , cleared all the junk that I have piled in front of it , and gave it a wash to get all the spider webs off it , better give myself a kick up the butt now and get back into it .

Well ,material never turned up for the job I had planned to do today so I thought I would put it in on the ute .
Started at 7 am this morning and have spent all day sanding the damn thing again , started with the long block with 320 grit paper and then wet sanded the whole thing with 400.
Dont know which is screaming more my arms or my back  , but the ute is looking good , think I am nearly ready for some paint , what ya reckon ??

Put a bit more primer on the bare spots and give the bonnet a lick of primer and she should be good to go , next weekend hopefully :D
