Hi Steve

Mate I agree.

They do however make a great basis for poweringing up with a sympathetic conversion eg red and drive line.

I wouldn't condone cutting up a rare body at all. From what I can gather you can do a shit load that can be fully reversed and if EKjimmy's car gets things done further down the track all parts will be stored to bring the car back to fully stock. Time and money will tell!

A rooted auto will still yield a very correct tunnel change though.

yeah i wouldn't go and cut up a good original car BUT if it were the right price and i couldn't deal out of it, i'de have no option as vmx says you can do alot that is reversable

samrob, the flat black wagon on ebay in NSW no good for you ?

Hey RB - Buy the whole car.

You get a set of good chromies and Jimmy, being the choirboy that he is, has only driven to his local church each Sunday !!!

Hey Samrob, looks OK, decent trim, radio and a grey motor (of course  ), but go have a look at the car in the metal first (only problem is it's in Tassie if your mainland based). Never buy a car sight unseen on Evilbay. Too many people with burnt fingers...

"Wet blasting", French knickers and suspenders, now choirboys... is there something you're trying to tell us Dave Mac? Not that there is anything wrong with that - if you were to express your true feelings I'm sure the whole forum would be right behind you

Mate as a young bloke you will get sick of a grey motor really fast.

Gen Y or whatever, ask J he did pretty quick, and he is not the only young bloke I know who has got sick of a slow grey pretty quick.

My advice would be to buy a red motored car, it will save you $$ in the long run as long as your not looking to become a restorer.

Sorry if this upsets anyone

Did I mention I really wanted to be a lumberjack !!!

If you don't know Monty Python my desire to be a lumberjack will be lost on you !!!

Anyway - nothing wrong with French knickers on the right girlie

Now back to Sam's car..............

Mate be very careful buying sight unseen! My EK ute turns up tomorrow from the car carrier so I'll be able to find out if my judgement was right but it ain't for the faint hearted !!!

Is this your first car?

Hey VMX Ive got the whole script for the Life of Brian even the cut out bits like how the virgin Mary Got pregnant and the conversation the aliens were having when Brian fell in the spaceship. Man I would have loved to see those scenes on the screen. It would have shook the world.

Maybe they should do a Life of Allah (it could be a short film with an explosion at the end). Now that would get a reaction.
