I did some yard painting today also on sams ute.
I started with the original paint left over from the resto.
It didnt even come close to matching. Somehow the pigments in the blue must have washed out.
We had to take the car to get the colour matched.
I dont have a tinting system so no way of doing it.

Tim I struggle with colour matching.
Ive never had a paint lose its colour like that before.
The paint shop spent an hour and put in half a dozen tinters to get it right.
They did a great job and didnt charge me.

What is the colour name of the "flecky grey" trim that is on the seats? I've got similar in my FB sedan that is supposed to be 666-820 (Mawson and Penguin Grey), though I've always wondered which was the Mawson and which the Penguin.
