Hey guys,

Looking forward to this weekend,,,,,
Now, dont laugh at me, but after trying to attend this event for years, this will actually be my first

Can someone give me a bit of a heads up on what actually is the go, as in, what to make sure you dont miss, what you can actually give a miss, etc ??

It gets hard with 3x little rugrats undr 5 now, to have a free rein to do and see what you want, so if someone can give me a bit of an insight of what goes on, I can plan my day/days a bit easier ?? :D

Cheers,
Bus1211

This should answer most questions...
chopper wrote:Less than 2 weeks till the picnic... and the entries are coming in fast!!! If you are one of those that have pre-entered you should be receiving the information early this week!
The music line-up features the cream of Australia's Rockabilly bands giving you the best entertainment ever, including a couple new bands featuring some legendary rockabilly musicians! The set-up in the main square has been altered, giving us heaps of extra useable undercover areas, and also allowing us to resume cruising through the heart of the Picnic, which we had to forego a couple of years ago as it was becoming unworkable. Please remember that we have certain parking requirements that we need you to respect in order to have everything running as smoothly as possible, helping us deliver the utmost fun you can have in your hobby.
Saturday evening we're cruisin' the main drag, followed by the Rockabilly Riot at the Main Street Hotel featuring the Flattrakkers and the Flyin' Saucers, ring the Hotel on 03 59 411 748 if you want to book tables. We're only here to supply the means to your enjoyment, it's up to you to make sure you have fun :wink:Image
For those that haven't been the bands play in the central area behind the grandstand, and the cars are every where else!
