FCOV6, Thommo, Ratbox, EKSPSL, Fatboy,
Thanks for the posts..... you can be rest assured that the pics will flow and "V8EK4US" will be hauled from the "Top End" (Darwin) to good ol' Bendigo (my place of birth...... some -- years ago??? and don't hold that against me!!) in 2009 for the nats!
There will be some "out there & different" stuff happening on this ol' girl, the next one.. Sue's EK (the minister for WAR & FINANCE) will be much moooooooore "original".... can't wait to get into that one.... be like sitting in the shed contemplating the next move and "She who MUST be opeyed" walks in an says "gee, is that all you have done on MY car this week??".... *%&^(*&^*&*(^_()&*&%$#.

All good, Sue is great and I know she will be in there doing her bit!!

Looks beautiful Gaz , please keep the pics coming.

Love the ride height !!!

Looking forward to seeing your front assembly ... im having major issues with getting the front end of my sedan down. (Using csr V8 front end and front mounted Torrie rack, wb capliers and 4inch rims). Cant seem to get the clearance with the front guards.

Cheers on the feedback guys,
Mephious, I know the frontend/rim/ride height combo is going to give me some serious grief  . She will be sitting low, so what needs to be done will be done to get her down with clearance   . I do not want to flare the guards so it will be a challenge to say the least.    It may involve narrowing the front cross member to reduce the front track :?: :?: if this happens then it will a trip back to the rego guys with plans and paperwork for prior approval (as I have done with the rest of the mods).

I have just cleaned the underside in prep' for the welding required and also the fitting of the CRS kit (slightly changed to suit the 220mm tub job), here are some pics.......... made it quick and easy on the rotisserie ....mmm another 40 minutes at 200 degrees and she should be cooked!!

Great work, can't wait to see the outcome especially considering the thought you have put in to it just to make it easier to work on.

Tub job is real neat. Best way to do it I say, keep 'em guessing...
