Hey Caz, if the trimatic is behind the grey motor you don't really need a cross member, I have this setup and don't have one.
But it doesn't mean you can't do it either .

Sorry Trev, It will be behind a 186, not a grey. We put engine and gearbox ready to go in, but the crossmember will need to be changed. HELP!!!!!
