Also look under heading "General Sharing Advice and Experience" section and up the top of that section page there is a sticky thingo titled "Very Handy Site".
Click on that and it will go to the DOTARS site and the National Code of Practice for Light Vehicle Construction and Modification.
Most state rego mobs use this as a basis for their respective criteria for modifications and then tweak them to suit.
Most of the info you need will be there.

Thanks FB MAD Looks like i have a lot of work ahead of me. I will start calling around tomorrow to see what A.C.T rego requires.
Another Question: Is it possible for me to get a trimatic to work off my standard column?

Pretty sure they will but the gearshift position indicator will be wrong as Hydromatic shift sequence is different to traumatic shift sequence.I think Trev is, or was going to a trimatic, maybe he or someone else running trimatic with original column can shed a bit more light to your question maybe.

If it's so easy, why is it taking you so long to do it

Matches: If you get time to take some pics of your linkages that would be very much appreciated
Minifbvan: I think i will go with the t700 eventually but at the moment i'm trying to do as little as possible to get it driving and registered. I have a VP Commodore as my everyday driver which i can dismantle when the EK is registered

Cause when you park on a road, it cambers to the left so all the moisture tends to sit on that side...........i think.

Doesn't look too bad at all. Your call as to how far you go.
As for the auto, I run a traumatic through the standard column and eventually plan on the t700 conversion which will also be column shifted.
