The Tasman centre is a snug fit and when I took them to a local bloke to fit them he told me to place them on the floor and knock them into place with a BFH. I fitted them to a stub axle in the vice and used a screwdriver as a dial indicator to true them up. Welded in with a MIG. They balanced up with no dramas and have made 860 passes down the 'strip without issues. You might be able to do similar with a wider ring.

I have done them in a lathe but not with a stub in a vice :crazy: :ebiggrin:

Thanks spanners. Did the same with HTG rims. Got three choices already for the ute and van with LC width rear axles, as well as a couple for the stock width sedan. So the Tasmans can go on the shelf for a while. Also got a set of the ROK Decorative Centre pre-Tasman rims.
