After grinding the original rim away from the 'spokes' leaving the metal bit poking out I then used a standard HR ring. The Tasman centre is a snug fit and when I took them to a local bloke to fit them he told me to place them on the floor and knock them into place with a BFH. I fitted them to a stub axle in the vice and used a screwdriver as a dial indicator to true them up. Welded in with a MIG. They balanced up with no dramas and have made 860 passes down the 'strip without issues. You might be able to do similar with a wider ring.
