Even if the lockdown doesn’t get extended, access into Qld may not necessarily be available for Victorians. Depends on when the Qld government decides the risk of cooties is low enough for Victoria to no longer being labelled a hot spot.

Just heard that SA may go onto state travel restrictions.......hmm "me thinks" something is going on....
If this happens it will put an end to Toowoomba for us

As you can see I posted this quite late last night, a news thingy came over the tv by the police chief who said that due to the situation in vic and if they were to get worse,our state COULD be looking at state travel restrictions.
Only putting up there what I heard !!!!
As stated if this were to happen our plans would not happen....920ks to Broken Hill from here.

The Mark McGowan fan club newsletter - AKA our local newspaper the West Australian - says there is talk of there being cases in lower NSW now as well - we are meant to fly in to NSW this Saturday and head up from there so we may be in strife as well .........

Yeh Blacky it is getting tough almost to the point of it being too hard.
As you know we have to go the long way round so just to get over the NSW border is 900+ ks and if there is a spread in NSW .... I know for sure we will not be allowed to come back in to SA. (or stay put, or quarantine which would make the nationals a really expensive trip)..
Just checking a couple of times a day.
Guess we are all on tenderhooks a bit

Completely sucks guys - really pissed with these muppet politicians - why we couldnt have a dedicated quarantine hub away from major populations is beyond me - had heaps of time to do it

but a lot depends on QLD the dingbat that runs the place is known for keeping people from states where there has been an outbreak locked out for a long time past their last case
there's places all over NSW that's on alert due to some filthy infected Victorians traveling around knowing they were sick

Only two cases yesterday in aged care environments hopefully mean they have it run to ground - some babble about fragments in waste water but those tests never amounted to any real cases - most likely just shedding of known cases.
Lets hope your all free and clear - even the Pics might get a reprieve at the last minute if from regional areas.

maybe not - 9 cases today form a mystery cluster - the worst kind - surely the need to stop hotel quarantine until a safe viable option is found - I get the human rights aspect of travellers returning home but what about the human rights aspect of all that live and work here - surely the majority safety outlays the minority FFS.
