Blueberry at the auto electrician, the generator replaced with an alternator.
Gauges sorted so they now work with the idiot lights.
Digital radio installed with Bluetooth so it will now sync to my mobile.
You can get them from jacar for around $99. Just needed two small speakers for under the dash....

Sweet, Wayne.....and, unlike many others - Blueberry here is shown as a "trailer princess"..... the difference being - it's not the way she's going to live life.. and run to nationals.....
Well done.

Went to the Auto Trimmer today as he needs paint for the steel frame of the front seat.
Had to scrounge up a litre of Dulux GHM Chevron Blue Metallic.
While I was there I checked the newly arrived material from the states for my seats.
Looks like a perfect match for the original. Which is Viscount & Zenith Blue with Stardust Grey Bolsters

The trim was sourced from SMS Auto Fabrics in Portland Oregon

This was the company Craig obtained his roof liner from, still to put mine in, maybe in two weeks.

This is the new inserts

This is the other blue for the bottom of the seats and the door cards.

That's not my old trim. It's another forum member. Just happened to be there and it's the same as I wanted.

I'm working on that, you will need to send swatches to match your trim.
you'll also need to contact the company with how much you need. they'll give you the costings.
My trimmer worked out what we needed and he ordered it.

What I'm thinking of doing is asking this company, if I send my old trim over could they make kit's like you can buy for Mustangs and Corvettes.
Then all that would be needed is to send the colour swatches to them to match it.
I have a complete front seat but might need the top and bottom rears.
More on that later.

Triples set up and working! Thanks Fingers...

Image

Small problem. because she's lowered the knuckle hits the rim, have to figure out what to do here, any suggestions? :?

Ready to be picked up and on the way to have the twin exhaust fitted.

Hi Wayne,

The lowering of the car doesn't affect the wishbone to wheel clearance normally, its just the rim offset. Put a spacer between the drum and wheel and the problem will be solved, looks as if 5mm will be enough.

Regards Greg

Hi Wayne,
Blueberry is looking great. Love the colour!
What rims are you running on the front? I'm thinking that they are wider than standard which is causing dramas with the King pin touching.
I'm not a fan of spacers for various reasons one being that they cock up your scrub radius with respect to tyre to ground contact.
Simply the centre line of the wheel and tyre must meet at the centre line of the king pin at the point the tyre touches the ground. Pushing the wheel out further makes for extra tyre wear and heavier steering. This is one reason why wheel offset is so important on the front relative to steering geometry.

Cheap way around for you would be go to a narrower rim (standard) or maybe 14" rims to give clearance.
The other costly option would be to ditch the front end for a HR/HD with standard springs and fit dropped stubs. This will position the wheel higher and still retain correct suspension travel and bump clearance.
One other I have seen in trucks is to have the king pin re-bent i.e. increase the angle between king pin center line and the top pivot. Hopefully after that you would be able to compensate for adjustment by reducing the camber angle.
I'm not sure that I would be increasing spacers due to the lack of wheel stud length and increased loading placed on them.
I forgot to ask, is the king pin touching or the wishbone? If its the wishbone touching, what was your camber angle set to? You may have some adjustment there to push the rim away from the wishbone depending on your camber angle.
