Got all the floors welded in today .... :D :D ...now the grinding starts ....grinding ,grinding more grinding .............the only other rust in the floors is around the drivers side seat mounting bolt holes and near the back set mounting on the drivers side ...I just cut some pieces from the old floor section belted them to shape and trimmed them to size and welded in as per photos ....floors are all now rust free ...just grinding , grinding .  .

Didnt do any grinding today , but sat the larger transmission tunnel from CRS in and decided to fit it ........I dropped the tunnel on the floor and got centre of the old tunnel and centre of the new tunnel in line then trimmed the new tunnel to fit neatly on the floor and measured from side of tunnel to the outside of the car to make sure its all centred then...tek screwed it into position ...drew around the new tunnel then drew inside the line so there would be an overlap on the underside ...drilled the new tunnel for plug welding on top and the underneath over lap was cleaned up for a full weld .............The hole that is still there was put in by a previous owner probably for a toyota 5 speed tunnel ...anyway went to one of the donor cars and cut out a repair section will get it in next week sometime

Got the subframe back from the sandblaster The Panel guy got it in etch prime I cut some rust repair sections from one of the donor cars ...should do the job just beaut .other than the rust around the battery box area it is fairly rust free the legs are all excellent ...will fix the rust and trail fit it ,so we can trail fit the dummy motor and box and get the engine mounts and gearbox mounts all sorted ......

Got the day off so hooked in to it again ...finished welding the inside floors and tunnel inside and under.... grinding was the next job .. all the grinding is done except the under side of the floor panels ..get them done this weekend maybe ....started to fit up the subframe ...but had a few problems with the inside 9/16 bolt that goes in from the inside of the car and is screwed into the subframe thru the firewall ..the only ones without nuts ...if ya know which ones I mean ...ANY IDEAS TO MAKE THIS EASIER ....Ordered my diff housing 1360 mm from disc face to disc face ....using &*#@ rims with a back space of 4" and 1/2" and 7" wide ....hope this does it .... it could get exspensive .....
