Well this is my sign off before the trip up to glorious Sawtell. Car's packed, greased, oiled. & fueled (not to mention the Jerrycan as well ). Leaving work tomorrow evening and going straight up to Hazelbrook to stay overnight at Pete's place. Then it's off early Thursday (with the co-driver) up the New England to about Armidale (Hi Steve! ), then after a night there we should hit Sawtell well before lunch Friday.
I'm like a kid on Christmas eve!! CAN'T wait!

Probably 7.00am-ish, Dave (well that's what time we left last year)..At least this year I've got a heater in the car so i won't freeze my arse off until 10am!! By jinggo's those Armidale mornings are F#@!in' COLD !!!

don't have to worry about the VP now i was in 2 minds about going (spending money that could be better spent on the 2 door) and with the threat of the weather being lowsy i would want to kill somebody if i drove all that way to watch it rain (was going up to cooly then back to sawtell) plus can't take the wagon out in the rain

also if any of you are up there for an extended holliday next weekend there's a swap meet at gosford that's usually not to bad and a hot rod show at bobbin head that's usually a goodun as well, it's been going for 40 years and this is the last year (don't know the reason)
