Looking good mate,
You'd reckon for the money those frontends are, that a bit more homework to allow for both steering and engine mounts would have been done. Bloody shame, it'd probably have great clearence if you put the grey back in it.

Could you make an engine mount boss out of flat plate, boxed with crush tubes that has a hollow underneath to allow steering clearence? Excuse the bodgey drawings but something like this.
Or an engine mount boss like on a CRS front end, but built to allow the clearence required, that I have highlighted in pink.

that's pretty much how my mate has done a few now, flat plate bent that the engine mount actually sits on withtube welded to underside for bolt to go through
